I have added the sash. Slightly challenging to contemplate with all the different colours at the edge. After a conversation with a fellow quilter I went looking for a batik fabric in blue, and found the perfect piece at Warkworth's little quilt shop. As is so often the case it was very enjoyable, and did not take as much time as I thought! This will be quilted by a talented quilter, and I turn my attention to the next project . . .
This is a record of creative making, indoors and out, in my life. A space for me to share ideas and reflect on projects. There is the bonus to reach out to other makers. I am a sewist, starting in my teens, and sewing on and off throughout my life. Largely clothes, but with forays into quilting, and the domestic homemaking projects of curtains and blinds. A lover of movement and the outdoors I am happy with my hands in the earth creating, in my minds eye, a pleasing garden space

Round Robin # 7 House
Today I farewelled the little house in the garden, and received the next project in the Round Robin series.
