This is a record of creative making, indoors and out, in my life. A space for me to share ideas and reflect on projects. There is the bonus to reach out to other makers. I am a sewist, starting in my teens, and sewing on and off throughout my life. Largely clothes, but with forays into quilting, and the domestic homemaking projects of curtains and blinds. A lover of movement and the outdoors I am happy with my hands in the earth creating, in my minds eye, a pleasing garden space

Wrist Pincushion - with well padded base

What I discovered is that there are some things so close to being complete a project like this is a joy. A pincushion for the wrist, started for my friend Wendy 2+ years ago. And this month is her birthday - perfect.

Made from two squares offset, such a fun project.
